Cinco Sentidos Espadilla con Pichomel
Cinco Sentidos Espadilla con Pichomel is a destilado de agave ensamble from Reyes Metzontla, Puebla. Producers Atelo Ramirez and Laura Arriaga use hand-milled Marmorata and Rhodacantha agave. Copper distillation yields a 47.31% ABV spirit from lot ESPCHATEL 04-22. The nose offers delicate floral notes of lavender and cream cheese alongside sesame. A clean entry reveals fresh bell peppers, cilantro, and mint on the palate. Citrus elements like lemon and lime emerge toward a finish marked by sour grapefruit rind. Lingering minerality balances sweet, acidic, and slightly smoky profiles with peppery undertones for a mouthwatering conclusion.
