Cinco Sentidos Ticuchi con Espadilla

Oaxaca

Cinco Sentidos Ticuchi con Espadilla is an Ensamble from Oaxaca. Producer Amando Alvarez crafts this spirit in Santa María Ixcatlán using Nussaviorum and Rhodacantha agaves. Hand milling and clay pot distillation define its production at 44.9% ABV. The nose offers farmyard notes, figs, and savory earth with rawhide fermentation aromas. Oak, walnut, clove, mushrooms, and a wet cellar character emerge on the nose. Charred citrus, chile mangoes, and balsamic hints appear on the palate. Eucalyptus, apricot, and meaty elements follow with high acidity in the finish. Espresso, cacao, mole, and chile-covered peppers conclude this complex profile.
