901 Silver Tequila is a Sauza 901 blanco from Jalisco. This 40% abv spirit uses Tequilana agave and NOM 1102. A diffuser mills the hearts before three times distillation. Peppery and floral aromas lead to a citrus finish. Some batches show heavy alcohol burn while others remain soft. The Los Valles origin influences its mild character significantly. Early production offered viscous texture and rich agave notes, yet current iterations may reflect cost-saving methods like diffusion. The spirit exhibits a unique finish that ranges from smooth to spicy depending on the batch.
