Refugio Calzada Hernandez produces this spirit using copper distillation and shredder milling for eight to ten year old cupreata agave. The bright nose reveals pineapple, lime, and blueberry aromas. Dry fruit and brown sugar define the palate alongside subtle copper notes. Caramel and mesquite appear on the finish with minimal smoke intensity. This 46.9 percent ABV bottle offers a clean profile suitable for daily consumption without overwhelming heat, delivering an approachable character that highlights the unique qualities of this specific agave variety.
