Alacrán Joven is a 100% Espadin mezcal available at 46 percent ABV. The nose offers restrained smoke and faint vanilla notes on the first impression. Some perceptions include mild lemon and vanilla sweetness, while others note a bland profile with muddled sugar water undertones. Alacrán Mezcal
About the Brand
Auténtico Mezcal Alacrán (AMA) is the mezcal arm of the Alacrán brand that also produces tequila. The brand was established in 2010. They offer several varieties of tequila and make their mezcal with agave Espadin. All of their mezcal is produced by Don Lucio Morales in San Dionisio Ocotepec. Don Lucio is the uncle of Alberto Morales, who produces Wahaka Mezcal across the street.
