Alma de Lobo Reposado is a tequila classified as a reposado. Tequila, protected by Mexican denomination of origin since 1974, requires Agave tequilana Weber variedad azul. Production is restricted to Jalisco and select municipalities in four other states. This label rests in oak for at least two months but less than one year. The short aging adds light color and rounds the spirit while keeping agave sugars prominent. Every bottle carries a NOM identifying the distillery. Alma de Lobo Reposado fits squarely within this regulated category of rested agave spirit.
