Amatiteña Tequila Blanco is a 42% abv spirit from Jalisco’s Los Valles region, produced under NOM 1477. It uses Tequilana agave cooked in a steel oven and milled in a tahona. Spontaneous fermentation occurs in wood tanks with fibers before copper pot distillation. Aromas of mineral, cooked agave, and mint lead to a palate with thyme, cinnamon, and brine. The finish offers peppery warmth and subtle smoke against a clean, oily mouthfeel that lingers with distinct earthiness and bright citrus notes.

Olfactory Phase
Aromatic profile with a combination of citrus, fruity, herbal and sweet notes. Aromas of pineapple, tangerine and grapefruit stand out, accompanied by apple yellow, mint and cinnamon, along with a sweet caramel note. The intensity aromatic is average, as is the alcoholic sensation.

Sweet notes of pineapple are perceived and a sweetness reminiscent of caramel. Acidic flavors predominate, accompanied by a subtle sweetness. The alcoholic sensation is medium-low. The aftertaste shows an average persistence, dominated by citrus notes and fruity. Notes of pineapple, orange and lime are perceived.
