Compoveda Rosa is a Blanco tequila from NOM 1414, rested in wine casks to impart distinct fruit and floral notes. The nose reveals peach, brown sugar, sage, and red wine aromas alongside agave. On the palate, flavors of vanilla, caramel, pepper, and dried strawberry emerge with subtle sweetness and mild spice. The finish offers warm caramel, a pepper fizz, and lingering bitterness. While some find it intriguing, others note a one-dimensional profile with musty or tannic endings. This unique expression balances barrel influence with agave character in a delicate yet complex manner.
