Cuish Arroqueño – Francisco Garcia Leon
Cuish Arroqueño, Francisco Garcia Leon is a Joven mezcal from Miahuatlán, Oaxaca. The Americana agave species provides a distinct character to this spirit. Francisco Garcia León distills the mash using a traditional refrescador method for clarity. He aged this forty liter lot in glass vessels for nine years to develop depth. The 48% abv spirit presents spiced apple bundt cake and sweet earth on the nose. Sweet raisins, radish, mild heat, and roasted coriander seeds define the complex palate profile. This release balances earthy tones with sweet fruit elements effectively for the discerning drinker.
