Don Max Tequila Reposado is a tequila aged in oak. Tequila is an agave spirit protected by Mexican law since 1974 and requires Agave tequilana Weber variedad azul. Production is restricted to Jalisco and specific municipalities in four other states. This reposado label rests for at least two months but less than one year in wood vessels. The brief aging adds light color and rounds the spirit while keeping agave sugars prominent. Every bottle carries a NOM number identifying its certified distillery. Don Max Tequila Reposado fits squarely within this regulated category of rested agave spirits.

Aromatic profile with a combination of citrus, fruity, herbal and sweet notes. Aromas of pineapple, tangerine and grapefruit stand out, accompanied by apple yellow, mint and cinnamon, along with a sweet caramel note. The intensity aromatic is average, as is the alcoholic sensation.
