Don Vicente Tequila Extra Añejo is a 40% abv spirit from Jalisco. It uses Tequilana agave at El Pandillo under NOM 1579. Stone oven cooking and tahona milling shape the base profile. The mash ferments in open steel tanks without fibers. Double distillation in copper pots refines the character. Aging in used American White Oak barrels adds depth. Aerating unifies flavors for a soft mouthfeel. Light vanilla and caramel notes emerge clearly. Subtle baking spices and dried fruit follow. Cooked agave sweetness remains distinctively tequila here. The finish is medium with vegetal hints. Heavy oak dominance is avoided entirely.
