El Buho Especial Mango
El Buho Especial Mango is a Joven mezcal from Espadin agave infused with ripe mango. This Lot 01 expression, distilled in May 2018 at forty-six percent alcohol by volume, presents a bouquet of fresh fruit and delicate cooked agave notes. The palate delivers dominant mango flavors balanced by subtle candied peppers and a soft smoky backdrop. While some find the profile one-dimensional, others appreciate its sweet, mellow character and thin mouthfeel. The finish lingers with saline, slate, and a hint of smoky incense, offering a distinct fruit-forward profile that stands apart from traditional agave spirits.

Color: Crystalline, very bright, with slight cold flashes could be perceived such as silver, very faint bluish or cold light gray under certain lighting conditions. Clarity: Clean and transparent, without impurities or turbidity.
Olfactory Phase
Aromatic profile with a combination of citrus, fruity, herbal and sweet notes. Aromas of pineapple, tangerine and grapefruit stand out, accompanied by apple yellow, mint and cinnamon, along with a sweet caramel note. The intensity aromatic is average, as is the alcoholic sensation.

El Buho Mezcal was founded by Jose Isaac “Pepe” Jimenez Mendez, who comes from a long line of mezcal producers, and TJ Steele, a Brooklyn-based chef. TJ and Pepe launched their mezcal brand with a mission to deliver a high-quality mezcal at an affordable price in an iconic bottle. El Buho Mezcal is a small batch mezcal that is made in the heart of Oaxaca.
