El Relingo Blanco is a Jalisco tequila from NOM 1486. This Agave Tequilana spirit hails from Los Valles and reaches 40% abv. The producer uses an autoclave for cooking and a roller mill for milling. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks before two distillations in pot stills. Tasting notes reveal fresh mint and cooked agave with a roast aroma. A distinct pepper note emerges on the palate, leading to a buzzing finish. This straightforward profile highlights the raw character of the agave without unnecessary complexity or added ingredients, offering a clear view of the region's style.
