El Secreto Añejo is a Jalisco tequila produced under NOM 1554 with forty percent alcohol by volume. This expression uses Tequilana agave and displays a yellow hue in the glass. The aroma presents cooked agave, light acidity, and hints of citrus alongside agave fibers. After twenty minutes, the citrus intensifies while an unnatural sweet note emerges on the nose. The palate confirms these initial aromas with intense sweetness and light acidity. A medium finish retains hints of citrus and cooked agave, leaving a persistent cloying sweetness on the tongue.

Aromatic profile with a combination of citrus, fruity, herbal and sweet notes. Aromas of pineapple, tangerine and grapefruit stand out, accompanied by apple yellow, mint and cinnamon, along with a sweet caramel note. The intensity aromatic is average, as is the alcoholic sensation.
