Espolon Añejo X (Extra Añejo) is a six-year extra añejo tequila from El Espolon. This Jalisco spirit uses Tequilana agave and carries NOM 1440. It features autoclave cooking and roller mill milling for production. The profile shows vanilla, caramel, oak, and citrus aromas with earthy notes. Palate flavors include sweet honey and spice with a mild agave presence. The finish offers lingering bitter almond undertones despite a lighter viscosity. Deep well water supports fermentation in stainless steel tanks for ten days. Two distillations occur before aging in used American white oak bourbon barrels.

Aromatic profile with a combination of citrus, fruity, herbal and sweet notes. Aromas of pineapple, tangerine and grapefruit stand out, accompanied by apple yellow, mint and cinnamon, along with a sweet caramel note. The intensity aromatic is average, as is the alcoholic sensation.
