Expresiones del Corazon Buffalo Trace Reposado is a tequila aged in used whisky barrels. This NOM 1103 spirit comes from Jalisco’s Los Altos Southern region. It uses Tequilana agave cooked in stone ovens and milled by roller mill. The nose offers sweet cooked agave, cinnamon, and buttery pineapple pastry. Palate notes include vanilla, butterscotch, black pepper, and almond. Oak influence provides a buttery mouthfeel with distinct whiskey-style heat. The finish remains medium to long, slightly dry and warm. This expression balances traditional agave character with significant wood influence.
