Expresiones del Corazon George T. Stagg Añejo is a tequila aged in bourbon barrels. This Jalisco spirit uses Tequilana agave and NOM 1103. Stone ovens cook the hearts while roller mills extract juice. Stainless steel tanks hold open-air fermentations for two distillations. Deep well water supports the process in Los Altos Southern regions. Dessert notes of almond and pastry dominate with muted agave brightness. Burnt sugar, toffee, and vanilla custard flavors define the palate. Peppery spice provides lift while barrel character remains prominent throughout. The finish offers creamy sweetness and clove with lingering gentle warmth.
