González 1939 Tequila Añejo Cristalino is a 40 percent abv tequila from Jalisco. This NOM 1570 spirit uses Tequilana agave cooked in stone ovens and milled by roller mill. Open-air fermentation in stainless steel tanks precedes double distillation in a pot still with copper coil. Aging occurs in French oak barrels before filtration removes color, leaving a clear liquid. The profile shows a distinct bite and very little initial flavor on the palate. A notably smooth finish defines the spirit, with ice revealing subtle undertones in the glass.
