About the Brand
La Tierra de Acre Mezcal began as a bootleg operation in 2017 (originally called Acre Mezcal), tucked away in the foothills of San Jose del Cabo at Acre Baja, a lush sanctuary set on 25 acres of greenery. The brand is related to the Acre Baja resort, which features elegant treehouses, organic farms, private event spaces, and an award-winning bar and restaurant. In 2021, the brand raised money via the StartEngine platform at a $10 million pre-money valuation. Later they rebranded from Acre Mezcal to La Tierra de Acre Mezcal
