Maguey Melate Bicuixe, Felipe Cortes is a Joven Destilado de Agave from Miahuatlán, Oaxaca. Felipe Cortés farms 17-year Karwinskii agave for this spirit. Milling occurs in a tahona stone while distillation uses a refrescador. The aroma offers wildflowers, pollen, and cornbread notes. Palate flavors include melon, blueberries, vanilla, and spearmint. A creamy mouthfeel carries hints of eucalyptus and sea salt. This 47% ABV spirit presents distinct aromatic complexity throughout the finish. The interplay of sweet fruit and earthy minerals creates a layered profile that lingers with surprising depth and clarity on the palate for an extended duration.
