Maguey Melate Lamparillo, Gilberto Roldán is a joven destilado de agave from Durango. This spirit uses asperrima agave aged twelve to fifteen years in Nombre de Dios. Gilberto Roldan mills the hearts by hand before distilling them in a duranguense still at forty seven point one percent alcohol. Bright aromas of berries, hay, and beeswax lead to vegetal notes of green peppers. The palate offers cooked citrus, vanilla custard, and mineral water with calcium. Earthy undertones of palm hearts and artichoke emerge alongside sweet vegetables like fennel.

Sweet notes of pineapple are perceived and a sweetness reminiscent of caramel. Acidic flavors predominate, accompanied by a subtle sweetness. The alcoholic sensation is medium-low. The aftertaste shows an average persistence, dominated by citrus notes and fruity. Notes of pineapple, orange and lime are perceived.
