Maguey Melate Mexicano, Semei Garcia Ramos is a Joven Destilado de Agave from Santa Maria La Pila, Oaxaca. This spirit uses Rhodacantha agave aged twelve years and distilled in copper. Semei Garcia Ramos mills the hearts by hand to produce this 50% abv batch. The nose offers grilled pineapple, almonds, chalk, and medicinal herbs with bright citrus notes. Palate flavors include roasted agave, radish, sweet peppers, and distinct minerality with a rounded character. The finish delivers a prickly heat that lingers on the tongue while showcasing floral complexity and concentrated sweetness throughout the drink.
