Maguey Melate Papalometl, Noel Negrellos Ortega is a Joven Destilado de Agave from Puebla. This spirit uses Potatorum agave harvested at eight to ten years of age. Noel Negrellos Ortega mills the hearts by hand before distilling them in copper stills. The aroma reveals candy, apple, melon, roasted maguey, smoke, and sandalwood. Palate notes include creamy strawberry frosting, saline elements, lactic sweetness, peach, cantaloupe, and baking spices. The finish is short yet astringent while maintaining good viscosity and complex regional character.

Citrus and spicy taste profile, with defined flavors of mandarin, grapefruit and cinnamon, which provide a fresh and vibrant acidity. Sweet notes of pineapple are perceived and a sweetness reminiscent of caramel. Acidic flavors predominate, accompanied by a subtle sweetness. The alcoholic sensation is medium-low. The aftertaste shows an average persistence, dominated by citrus notes and fruity. Notes of pineapple, orange and lime are perceived.
