Maguey Melate Tepextate, Hermogenes Vasquez is a Joven Destilado de Agave from San Luis Amatlan, Oaxaca. This spirit uses Marmorata agave aged eighteen years in iron-rich red clay soil. Hermógenes Vasquez mills the hearts with a shredder before copper pot distillation. The palate reveals powerful herbal notes of jalapeño and green bell pepper alongside distinct minerality. Sweet vanilla cream balances crisp vegetal character while earthy ash undertones add depth. The finish remains dry and complex, showcasing the unique profile of this precise expression.
