Mal Bien Madrecuixe Puntas, Cortes is a Joven Destilado de Agave by Agave Mixtape. Producer Felipe Cortés mills Karwinskii agave with a tahona in Miahuatlán, Oaxaca. Distillation occurs in a refrescador to yield this 56.5 percent spirit. The nose offers figs, cherries, and tropical papaya with earthy diesel notes. Sweet brown sugar and pound cake define the delicate palate despite high proof. A long, dry finish reveals minerals and woody Karwinskii characteristics that balance the heat effectively. This approachable expression showcases the distinct profile of the puntas cut from this specific agave variety with precision and care.
