NETA Tepextate, Aniceto García is a Joven Destilado de Agave from Miahuatlán. This spirit uses Marmorata agave distilled by Aniceto García. The nose offers wet grass, Thai basil, and spearmint alongside minerals. Guanábana and jalapeño notes appear on the aromatic profile. The palate balances lush sweetness with peppery heat from serrano peppers. Textures range from soft to velvety with pleasant warmth. Flavors include chocolate-covered cherries, cucumber peels, and kiwi. The finish presents strawberry cream soda or black peppercorns. This small-batch spirit showcases the character of Tepeztate agave. Aniceto directs production in Oaxaca using hand milling and a refrescador.

NETA is a colloquial word in Mexico that translates to “the real deal” or “the truth”. Since 2012, the brand has worked closely with several small, family producers and a cooperative of twelve palenqueros from the southern valleys and hills of Miahuatlán, Oaxaca.
