Patrón Cask Collection Sherry Añejo (2017) is a Jalisco tequila aged in sherry casks. This NOM 1492 spirit uses Tequilana agave from Ciénega. It features caramel, vanilla, and oak notes with cooked agave. Sherry influence appears bold alongside butterscotch and honey flavors. Oak, whiskey barrel spice, and black pepper linger on the finish. Deep well water supports this 40% abv expression distilled in copper pots. Stone brick ovens cook the hearts before tahona milling extracts the juice for fermentation. Wood tanks hold the must during this two-step distillation process in copper stills.

Aromatic profile with a combination of citrus, fruity, herbal and sweet notes. Aromas of pineapple, tangerine and grapefruit stand out, accompanied by apple yellow, mint and cinnamon, along with a sweet caramel note. The intensity aromatic is average, as is the alcoholic sensation.

Sweet notes of pineapple are perceived and a sweetness reminiscent of caramel. Acidic flavors predominate, accompanied by a subtle sweetness. The alcoholic sensation is medium-low. The aftertaste shows an average persistence, dominated by citrus notes and fruity. Notes of pineapple, orange and lime are perceived.
