Pechotierra Verde is a Joven Destilado de Agave from Nuevo León. It presents strong aromas of green apples, vinegar, and sweet dill pickles alongside cooked asparagus. The palate offers minty, chalky notes with green olives and mesquite smoke. Fermentation using pulque contributes tangy, funky elements reminiscent of kefir and brine. Distinctive fruit punch and roasted corn vibes emerge, evolving into herbal notes and perfumed smoke after airing. The mouthfeel is substantial with a smooth, sweet agave finish that lingers long after the glass is empty.
