Rayo Seco Cenizo, Victor Hugo Terrones is a Joven Destilado de Agave from Durango. Durangensis agave hearts arrive hand-milled for copper distillation in Nombre de Dios. The clear spirit holds 50% ABV without any wood contact or aging periods. This unaged expression highlights the raw character of the Durangensis agave plant and local terroir. Victor Hugo Terrones manages every step from harvest to bottling with precision. The result is a clean, potent spirit that reflects the specific volcanic soils of the region where these agaves thrive.

Color: Crystalline, very bright, with slight cold flashes could be perceived such as silver, very faint bluish or cold light gray under certain lighting conditions. Clarity: Clean and transparent, without impurities or turbidity.
Olfactory Phase
Aromatic profile with a combination of citrus, fruity, herbal and sweet notes. Aromas of pineapple, tangerine and grapefruit stand out, accompanied by apple yellow, mint and cinnamon, along with a sweet caramel note. The intensity aromatic is average, as is the alcoholic sensation.

Citrus and spicy taste profile, with defined flavors of mandarin, grapefruit and cinnamon, which provide a fresh and vibrant acidity. Sweet notes of pineapple are perceived and a sweetness reminiscent of caramel. Acidic flavors predominate, accompanied by a subtle sweetness. The alcoholic sensation is medium-low. The aftertaste shows an average persistence, dominated by citrus notes and fruity. Notes of pineapple, orange and lime are perceived. About the Brand
Rayo Seco Destilados is a brand featuring some of the finest producers in Guerrero, Mexico and beyond. They represent over five generations and they provide an introduction to the traditions of Guerrero to consumers across the globe. As of 2021, the state of Guerrero was still relatively untouched by many importers due to the decades-long unrest throughout much of the state. This is beginning to change as brands like Rayo Seco are at the forefront of exporting craft spirits from the region. Rayo Seco is also working with producers in other regions of Mexico.
