Siete Leguas Blanco 47 is a high-proof tequila from Jalisco. This NOM 1120 spirit uses Tequilana agave in Ciénega. Stone ovens and a tahona mill shape its profile. Two copper pot distillations yield 47 percent alcohol by volume. Vibrant cooked agave and black pepper lead the nose. Brine, minerality, and fresh citrus define the palate. A surprisingly thin texture allows spicy heat to build slowly. Lingering finish brings gentle tingling warmth and grassy notes.
