Sotoleros Lupe Lechuguilla is a Joven Destilado de Agave from Madera, Chihuahua. Hand-milled Bovicornuta and Shrevei agave distill in copper stills to create this 46.8 percent ABV spirit. Savory leather and graphite notes define the nose alongside brown sugar crystals. A hot palate reveals distinct minerality, earthy dustiness, and dried fruit flavors. Star anise and sandalwood emerge with singed grass smoke on the finish. This expression balances robust heat with herbal undertones that complement savory dishes like arugula salad, reflecting the specific character of its unique agave source in a clean and direct manner.

About the Brand
Sotoleros is a collection of traditional distillates from northern Mexico, which seeks to represent the tradition, art and culture of the region. Products from this brand began appearing on shelves in early 2021. Sotoleros has a connection with the legendary brand Clande Sotol – the colors on the bottle labels follow a similar pattern too. However, Soloteros is not a “rebrand” and the exact history between the two brands is unknown.
