Tequila Fregón Edición Navidad is a reposado tequila. Tequila is an agave spirit protected by a Mexican denomination of origin since 1974. It must be made from Agave tequilana Weber variedad azul, the blue agave. Production is limited to Jalisco plus designated municipalities in Guanajuato, Michoacán, Nayarit and Tamaulipas. Reposado means rested. The spirit spends at least two months and less than one year in oak containers. This short time adds light color and rounds the spirit while the agave stays in front.
