1519 Tequila Añejo is a 40% abv spirit from the 1519 Tequila brand in Jalisco. It uses Tequilana agave cooked in stone ovens and milled by roller mill. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks before double distillation in pot stills. Aging takes place in American White Oak barrels under NOM 1577 oversight. The aroma offers light cooked agave, vanilla, and earthy dust notes. Citrus and buttery creaminess complement the palate’s minerality and earthy depth. A medium finish retains traces of agave, vanilla, and citrus throughout the conclusion.
