42° Bacanora Joven
42° Bacanora Joven is a young agave spirit from Sonora, protected by denomination of origin since 2000. It must be made exclusively from Agave angustifolia Haw, known locally as yaquiana. Production is restricted to 35 municipalities in eastern Sonora. The label was prohibited from 1915 to 1992 but emerged from clandestine production during that era. Joven denotes the unaged expression, bottled directly after distillation without wood contact. This definition distinguishes it from tequila, where the term can include blends or additives. 42° Bacanora Joven belongs to this unaged category.

Aromatic profile with a combination of citrus, fruity, herbal and sweet notes. Aromas of pineapple, tangerine and grapefruit stand out, accompanied by apple yellow, mint and cinnamon, along with a sweet caramel note. The intensity aromatic is average, as is the alcoholic sensation.

Sweet notes of pineapple are perceived and a sweetness reminiscent of caramel. Acidic flavors predominate, accompanied by a subtle sweetness. The alcoholic sensation is medium-low. The aftertaste shows an average persistence, dominated by citrus notes and fruity. Notes of pineapple, orange and lime are perceived.
