Alipus San Juan XX Aniversario, Rodolfo Juan Juárez is a mezcal ensamble. Angustifolia, Marmorata, and Potatorum agaves form the complex base of this unique blend. Producer Rodolfo Juan Juarez mills the piñas using a traditional tahona stone wheel for texture. He then distills the fermented mash in copper stills to reach 47.6 percent ABV. The spirit originates from San Juan del Rio in Oaxaca, Mexico, a key region for quality. It adheres to NOM-O14X standards ensuring authentic production methods and regional integrity throughout the process.

Citrus and spicy taste profile, with defined flavors of mandarin, grapefruit and cinnamon, which provide a fresh and vibrant acidity. Sweet notes of pineapple are perceived and a sweetness reminiscent of caramel. Acidic flavors predominate, accompanied by a subtle sweetness. The alcoholic sensation is medium-low. The aftertaste shows an average persistence, dominated by citrus notes and fruity. Notes of pineapple, orange and lime are perceived. Alipus Mezcal

About the Brand

Alipús was born in 1999, as a project of the Destilería Los Danzantes, with Don Joel Antonio and sons as the first producers, in San Juan del Río. Subsequently, Don Eduardo Hernández, of Santa Ana del Río, making Alipús Santa Ana mezcal; Don Cosme Hernandez and his son Cirilo in San Baltazar Guelavila, who make the Alipús San Baltazar mezcal; Don Valente Angel and sons, of Santa María La Pila, with the Alipús San Andrés mezcal. In 2013, Alipús San Luis was incorporated, made by Don Baltazar Cruz and sons, of San Luis del Río, and Alipús San Miguel, made by Don Felix García, Leonardo Rojas, and Tío Jesús in the Potrero Sola de Vega.
