Alma Del Jaguar Añejo Ruby Wine Cask is a forty-four percent alcohol by volume tequila aged in Portuguese Douro Valley ruby wine barrels. The spirit presents a dark copper hue and offers subtle notes of light wood and cooked agave on the nose. Palate impressions reveal a flavor bomb profile with sweet, rich characteristics and distinct port influences without the bitterness often found in red wine barrel aged expressions. The finish remains nice and medium, delivering pepper heat alongside a sweet resolution that balances the initial dryness.
