Atanasio Añejo
Atanasio Añejo is a single barrel tequila aged in American White Oak. Produced by Atanasio under NOM 1599, this Jalisco spirit uses Tequilana agave from Los Valles. Autoclave cooking and roller mill milling precede stainless steel fermentation. Two distillations in pot stills yield a 45.8 percent ABV spirit with cooked agave and oak notes. Caramel, vanilla, butterscotch, honey, cinnamon, nutmeg, and stone fruit define the profile. Cherry and melon appear alongside earthy mineral tones on the palate. Lingering sweetness finishes with a balanced mouthfeel and pleasant viscosity.

Sweet notes of pineapple are perceived and a sweetness reminiscent of caramel. Acidic flavors predominate, accompanied by a subtle sweetness. The alcoholic sensation is medium-low. The aftertaste shows an average persistence, dominated by citrus notes and fruity. Notes of pineapple, orange and lime are perceived.
