Botik Lechuguilla, Dolores Gonzales Torres is a Joven mezcal from Chihuahua. It uses Shrevei agave grown in Yerbaniz Batopilas. Dolores González Torres mills the hearts by hand and distills them in copper stills. The spirit holds 46% ABV without a batch number. Aromas include cocoa, cola nuts, toffee, sandalwood, and toasted sesame oil. The palate delivers heavy smoke alongside mesquite, oak, and dry maple glaze. Notes of a freshly oiled baseball glove sit on a delicate, silky mouthfeel. This profile offers balance without heavy industrial influence in the glass.
