Los Cantiles 1905 Palmilla Ensamble
Los Cantiles 1905 Palmilla Ensamble is a sotol and maguey blend from Northern Mexico. This 47 percent ABV spirit presents woody, dusty aromas alongside dried corn husk and feedlot corn. The palate offers sweet, starchy corn notes distinct from sour profiles. Further scents include mint, wet leaves, leather, and burnt sage. Roasted almonds and crystallized ginger emerge later in the finish. The texture displays enormous density and flavor presence. This ensemble captures the unique character of dasylirion spirits with robust earthy elements and floral undertones.

About the Brand
The Portillo Family started producing Bacanoras, Lechuguillas and Palmillas back in 1905 when Don Refugio Portillo, Jose Luis Portillo’s great grandfather, founded “Rancho La Nopalera.” The project includes replanting agaves and promoting Opata Traditions, an ethnic group that is almost extinct. Their bottles are 100% recycled glass, made by hand by artisan workers, promoting economic grow in the region.
