Caballo Azteca Reposado is a tequila from Jalisco, bottled in 1999 at thirty eight percent abv. This NOM 1123 spirit uses Tequilana agave cooked in stone ovens and milled by roller mill. It offers a light mouthfeel with delicate barrel influence alongside vegetal cascahuin notes. The aroma presents sweet cooked agave, minerality, and resinous sweetness on the nose. Palate confirms these herbal elements with a medium alcohol sensation throughout the drink. The finish is medium length, lingering with light sweet agave and green vegetal traces.
