Castelan Blanco is a Mexican tequila bottled at 38 percent alcohol by volume. This lote DHE01 release features a marbete from 2014 and was bottled on November 23, 2017. The aroma begins with sharp jalapeño chili notes that dissipate after fifteen minutes, revealing sweet cooked agave and aromatic green vegetal hints alongside anise. The palate offers light sweetness with herbal character and mild pepper spiciness. A medium to long finish retains sweet agave and green pepper notes, while white sediments remain visible at the bottle bottom.

Aromatic profile with a combination of citrus, fruity, herbal and sweet notes. Aromas of pineapple, tangerine and grapefruit stand out, accompanied by apple yellow, mint and cinnamon, along with a sweet caramel note. The intensity aromatic is average, as is the alcoholic sensation.

Sweet notes of pineapple are perceived and a sweetness reminiscent of caramel. Acidic flavors predominate, accompanied by a subtle sweetness. The alcoholic sensation is medium-low. The aftertaste shows an average persistence, dominated by citrus notes and fruity. Notes of pineapple, orange and lime are perceived.
