Cazcanes No. 7 Reposado is a tequila from Jalisco bearing NOM 1614 and made with Tequilana agave. This spirit balances sweet cooked agave with distinct barrel influences from American oak. The profile features notes of caramel, vanilla, and cinnamon alongside earthy minerals. Production involves a fifty-fifty split of stone brick oven and autoclave cooking methods. Aging in used barrels for five to ten months adds subtle fruit tones like pear. The palate offers a silky mouthfeel with hints of pepper and butter for warmth.
