Clase Azul Plata

Clase Azul Plata

Clase Azul Plata is a blanco tequila produced under NOM 1416 and NOM 1595. It presents a profile dominated by intense sweetness, with notes of vanilla, caramel, and cream soda often described as syrupy or medicinal. Distinct agave, pepper, and citrus aromas coexist with subtle or artificial scents in this spirit. The palate is heavy, featuring a finish that ranges from spicy and agave-forward to cloying and brief. Additives create a texture that coats the mouth with glycerin-like viscosity, resulting in an overly sweet character that defines this specific expression of agave spirits.

Clase Azul

About the Brand

Clase Azul is primarily a tequila company, but they also release mezcal. Their first mezcal release was made in the state of Durango where the extreme climate, the rich minerals of its soil, and the source of natural springs in the area, give particular force and complexity to its notes, making it a different mezcal than what is produced elsewhere Mexico. Their second release comes from the state of Guerrero. Both are packaged in tall and ornate ceramic bottles.
