Clase Azul San Luis Potosí is a Salmiana agave mezcal from the state of San Luis Potosí. It presents floral aromas with distinct wet cement notes that evolve into a balanced profile of smoke and fruit. The spirit offers a complex mouthfeel, delivering a long finish that lingers for several minutes after swallowing. It is less smoky than Durango expressions yet more so than Guerrero variants, and it maintains a lower sweetness level compared to the latter. About the Brand
Clase Azul is primarily a tequila company, but they also release mezcal. Their first mezcal release was made in the state of Durango where the extreme climate, the rich minerals of its soil, and the source of natural springs in the area, give particular force and complexity to its notes, making it a different mezcal than what is produced elsewhere Mexico. Their second release comes from the state of Guerrero. Both are packaged in tall and ornate ceramic bottles.
