El Tesoro 80th Anniversary Extra Añejo is a Jalisco tequila from NOM 1139. This expression uses Tequilana agave grown in Southern Los Altos. Stone oven cooking and roller mill milling shape its base profile. Fermentation occurs in wood tanks with natural spring water before copper pot distillation. American White Oak bourbon barrels age the spirit for its complex character. Sweet cooked agave balances with vanilla, cherry, and mineral notes on the nose. Palate flavors include caramel, toasted agave, and peppery spice with anise hints. The finish lingers with creamy textures and persistent wood spice for a long close.
