El Tesoro Añejo Mundial Collection: Knob Creek is a tequila aged in rye barrels. NOM 1139 produces this spirit from Tequilana agave in Jalisco. The pale straw hue indicates light wood extraction during aging. Cooked agave aromas blend with vanilla and spicy pepper notes. Sweet stewed agave appears on the palate alongside oak flavors. Cinnamon and mineral undertones provide a complex finish. This expression balances La Alteña character with bold rye spice. The result is an agave-rooted depth with whiskey-like notes.
