Herradura Reposado is a tequila aged in American White Oak barrels. This 40% abv spirit comes from Jalisco and uses Tequilana agave. NOM 1119 marks its production in Los Valles. Stone ovens cook the hearts before roller mill extraction. Stainless steel tanks handle fermentation without fibers. Distillation occurs twice in a pot still with copper coil. Natural spring water supports the process throughout. Citrus and pineapple aromas lead to vanilla notes. Butterscotch flavors emerge with black pepper on the palate. Mango and cherry hints add fruity depth. The texture feels viscous yet dry at the end.
