IBA 40

IBA 40

Oaxaca

IBA 40 is a Joven mezcal that presents as mild and light. The nose offers almost no presence, with only a faint hint of heated candle wax detectable on the initial inhale. The palate delivers a harsh bite upfront, lacking distinct smoky flavors or significant aromatic complexity. While some find it watery, this profile makes it an accessible introduction to the spirit for newcomers. The label carries kosher certification and organic status, distinguishing its production standards despite the straightforward sensory profile that lacks deep layered notes or robust body.
