Jose Cuervo 250 Anniversario is an Extra Añejo tequila from Jalisco. NOM 1122 marks this spirit produced in Los Valles using Tequilana agave. Autoclave cooking and roller mill milling precede stainless steel fermentation. Two copper pot distillations yield a 40% abv blend with aged blanco. Aromas of cherry, almonds, caramel, and black pepper lead to butterscotch. Palate notes include dried fruit, sweet leather, mocha, and sherry. French oak imparts sweetness without overwhelming the distinct agave character. The finish remains long, warm, and notably dry throughout every sip.
