Jose Cuervo Reserva de La Familia Cristalino Añejo is a tequila from Jalisco. This 100% agave spirit uses Tequilana Weber and NOM 1122. It ages in American White Oak barrels and Sherry casks. The aroma shows strong vanilla with minimal vegetal notes. Palate flavors include oakiness and black fruit elements. The finish is smooth without harsh burn or heat. Deep well water supports its production in Los Valles. Stone and brick ovens cook the agave hearts. A roller mill then processes the fibrous material. Stainless steel tanks handle fermentation for two days. Copper pot stills distill the spirit twice.
